Leonard Huggins, Ph.D.

Leonard Huggins is a GIS Analyst with 15 years of experience in GIS applications in government, non-profit and academic research. Leonard's GIS skills include route development using RouteSmart for ArcGIS and spatial analysis and web-based GIS applications for disaster management using ESRI's suite of GIS software.

Leonard received his BS in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University, British Columbia, Canada in 1998 and his Masters degree in Policy Policy and Managment from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. He completed his PhD in Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) in 2007. Leonard joined the IISIS team in 2005. He is currently a postdoctoral GIS researcher at the University of Pittsburgh's (GSPIA) Center for Disaster Management.
