Clayton Wukich

Clayton Wukich is a PhD student focusing on disaster response management and regional governance. He joined the IISIS staff in 2006, and serves as the lead researcher for data collection and liaison to local and state emergency management agencies.. Clayton also serves as a volunteer firefighter in the North Braddock Fire Department and an officer in the United States Navy Reserve. Prior to his doctoral studies, Clayton worked as an aide in the Pennsylvania governor's office working with local and regional officials on various initiatives. Clayton earned his MA in History at Pitt studying the former Yugoslavia and the crises that emerged during its dissolution. Clayton is particularly interested in local public safety networks and the factors that promote interagency cooperation and collaboration.
